Shipping Information
Our Ready – To – Wear is on an On – Demand basis so please expect 15-25 working days to ship. As soon as we ship your purchase, we will email you your shipping confirmation, which includes the tracking number for your delivery. In the case that DHL is unable to deliver a package due to an incorrect address entered by the customer, the customer’s refusal to pay duties, multiple failed attempts to reach the customer at point of delivery, or otherwise, SOFIYA DESIGNS is not responsible for payment of return shipping costs levied by the courier. Similarly, SOFIYA DESIGNS is not responsible for the payment of re-shipping merchandise to the customer. In cases such as these, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returned packages due to failed delivery.
SOFIYA DESIGNS is not responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by circumstances such as severe weather or natural disasters. Similarly, we are not responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by circumstances related to the courier itself, such as clearance delays. In such instances, please directly contact your courier with any inquiries about the status of your package.
For international shipping of products, regardless of the value of the order, you will be responsible for the payment of all related taxes and duties. We have no control of this as your package is subject to assessment of duties and taxes imposed by your country’s government. This amount will be usually billed to you by our International courier, DHL or your local tax office. *All product prices include VAT for orders within Ghana. For international orders, customers will be responsible for import duties and local taxes.
ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation of your shipping details and tracking number.
CHANGE DESTINATION
We start working on your order as soon as it is placed, we are unable to make any changes or modifications to an order after it has been confirmed.
SIGNING FOR DELIVERIES
All orders require a signature upon delivery. However, a family member or colleague may sign on your behalf. If you will not be available to accept delivery, consider shipping to your workplace. Alternatively, a notice will be left notifying you of alternate delivery or pick-up arrangements.
SHIPPING TO WORK ADDRESSES
For your convenience, you may prefer to have your order delivered to your workplace. If you choose this option, please include the name of your business in the address and note goods may be left with reception or the Mail Room.
Delivery to a PO Box, AFPO, PMB or Locked Bag is not permitted for security reasons.
DELIVERIES WITHOUT SIGNATURE
You may authorize your delivery to be left without a signature.
We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods once they have been signed for or where you have authorized delivery to be left unattended at your shipping address.
Returns & Exchanges
RETURNS POLICY
Please note: We do not accept returns on sale and archive items.
You may return, exchange or refund all other items* within 15 days of purchase, for any reason.
FINE PRINT
Returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed with all original tags attached.
You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us in original condition.
All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. Returns that are damaged, show signs of wear or do not have their original tags attached may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
RETURN FREIGHT
You are responsible for the cost of returning items.
FAULTY ITEMS
We aim to provide our customers with products of the highest standard and quality. If you have received an item with a defect please immediately contact us at Sale@sofiyadesigns.com email us a brief description and a photo showing the defect/fault. Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
INCORRECT ITEMS
If you have received an item different to the one you ordered, contact Sales@sofiyadesignsgh.com
RECEIVING A REFUND
Your refund will be credited to the original credit card, PayPal account. Please note credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary between card issuers and unfortunately, we are unable to influence this.
If you used a gift voucher, you will be issued with a store credit. The amount is automatically added to your Account and will be valid for one year.
